SISN Football Player of the Week 7
The results are in for Week 7 Southern Indiana Football Player of the Week. There were 5,341 fan votes in total, with Evan Bowling, Salem’s Junior RB/LB getting the most votes with 2,821. The Owen Valley fan base was just as supportive with 2,2274 votes for their Senior QB, Brody Lester. We love this level of support for the players!
Seeing that we did not have a Player of the Week for Week 6, and respecting the level of commitment from the fan base for their players and school, we’ve decided to award both Evan and Brody with the Player of the Week this time around.
Congratulations players, you both did an outstanding job in Week 7! Keep up the hard work!
Evan Bowling rushed 33 times for 184 yards and 5 TDs. Bowling also had 6 total tackles in a Salem 1-point victory over Eastern Musketeers, 47-46.
Brody Lester completed 18 of 18 passes for 341 yards and 5 TDS. Lester also rushed for 77 yards and another touchdown, finishing the day with 418 offensive yards, in a 61-7 Owen Valley win over Eastern Greene Thunderbirds.
