Benter-less Brownstown Gets Beat By Fort Wayne Blackhawk in Bobcat Semifinal 68-56

The Browstown Braves faced off against the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves. It was the battle of the Braves in the first semi-final matchup of the Bobcat of Daviess County Classic. Brownstown was without their star and future D1 player Jack Benter.

Brownstown would come out hot early behind the stellar play of Colby Hall. Hall would almost single-handedly lead Brownstown to a big first quarter lead. It would be all Fort Wayne after that though. Brownstown would simply not have any answers for the size, length, and athleticism of Fort Wayne. Former IU sharpshooter and current FW head coach Matt Roth has his team playing tremendous basketball. Fort Wayne will move on to face the winner of North Daviess and South Knox in the championship on Dec. 27th.
