Daviess County, IND – Listen we all know North Daviess can darn near score the ball at will. The combination of Jaylen Mullen and Lance and Logan Wilson are a trio for any team to be weary of. What I don’t think gets talked about enough is the whole team’s stellar defensive play. This was on full display in a complete and utter dismantling of South Knox in the Bobcat of North Daviess County Classic Thursday afternoon. North Daviess held the Spartans to just 29 points which is a season low. Remember this is not a bad South Knox team. Prior to this game the Spartans had only one loss on their resume and that was to a very good Loogootee squad. North Daviess proved today that they can handle a very physical basketball team and has shown that no matter what you throw at them this year, they’ve got an answer.
The Cougars will move on to face the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves in the Bobcat of North Daviess County Classic Championship game Tue Dec. 27th at 8 p.m.
