The fans have spoken, and Isaiah Williams of Lawrenceburg Football is your Southern Indiana Football Week 4 Player of the Week. Williams, a senior running back and defensive back, earned an impressive 61.56% of the fan vote, collecting 3,060 ballots from supporters across the region.
Williams put together a spectacular all-around performance in Lawrenceburg’s dominant 62–7 win over Greensburg. He finished the night with 213 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his versatility in every phase of the game.
On offense, Williams rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. On special teams, he thrilled the crowd with a 61-yard punt return touchdown. And on defense, he snagged an interception, shutting down Greensburg’s passing attack. Few players in Southern Indiana high school football impact the game as completely as Williams did on Friday night.
Through four games in 2025, Williams has already proven himself as one of the area’s top playmakers. He has piled up 509 all-purpose yards (127.3 per game) and scored five total touchdowns — two rushing, one receiving, one punt return, and one kickoff return. He also leads the Tigers’ defense with two interceptions, showing his ability to change the game no matter where he lines up.
Williams has built a strong career at Lawrenceburg. Over three varsity seasons, he has totaled 1,026 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns, while also recording 14 tackles and two interceptions on defense. His senior campaign is shaping up to be his best yet, with a chance to lead Lawrenceburg deep into the postseason.
The Lawrenceburg Tigers Football team enters Week 5 with a 3–1 record and a three-game win streak. After dropping their opener to East Central, one of the state’s elite programs, the Tigers have outscored opponents 157–59 over the past three weeks.
Lawrenceburg boasts a balanced attack with 850 rushing yards and 661 passing yards through four games, along with a defense that has racked up 13 sacks and two interceptions. The Tigers are heating up at just the right time.
According to the Jeff Sagarin Indiana Football Rankings (Week 5), Lawrenceburg is ranked #68 in the state with a rating of 70.67. Their schedule has provided both challenges and momentum:
