Thank you to everyone who voted in our Southern Indiana Sports Network Week 6 Player of the Week poll. The response was tremendous once again, with 53,530 total votes cast. Fans turned out in force for their schools, and the race at the top was one of the most competitive we’ve had all season.
In the end, North Daviess senior quarterback Keaton Graber came away with his first SISN Player of the Week honor, edging out Lawrenceburg’s Jacob Becker in a back-and-forth battle. Graber collected 27,576 votes (51.52%), while Becker finished a close second with 24,899 votes (46.51%).
Graber was outstanding in North Daviess’ 26–14 win at West Washington, putting together one of the most efficient games of the season. He completed 24 of 28 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns, an 85.7 percent completion rate that showcased his poise and accuracy.
On the ground, he added 69 rushing yards and a touchdown, finishing with 343 total yards and four scores. His dual-threat ability was on full display, helping North Daviess pull away in the third quarter and remain unbeaten.
Through six games, Graber has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in Southern Indiana:
Graber’s efficiency is the story of his senior season. His career completion rate has risen from just 41 percent as a junior to over 71 percent this fall, a leap that has elevated the Cougars’ offense to new heights.

The Cougars are off to a perfect 6-0 start, sitting atop the Southwest Conference (2-0). North Daviess has outscored opponents 211–56, with a defense giving up just 9.3 points per game and an offense averaging over 35 points.
Two of the team’s toughest tests are still ahead: a road game at North Knox (Oct. 10) and a home matchup with Springs Valley (Oct. 17). Both opponents are having strong seasons, and Graber’s leadership will be key to keeping the Cougars’ perfect record intact.
Congratulations to North Daviess’ Keaton Graber, the Week 6 Southern Indiana Football Player of the Week. His efficiency, leadership, and dual-threat play made him the clear choice in one of the most competitive polls we’ve hosted this season.
We also recognize the other Week 6 nominees for their outstanding performances:
