In a rematch of a regional final game from last year, the Paoli Rams did battle with the Forest Park Rangers. Paoli looked to gain a bit of revenge for the loss in the big tournament last year with a win over the Rangers today.

The game started off all Forest Park as they were able to dissect Paoli’s pressure zone defense and get some early open buckets. Paoli on the other hand started off cold as both their stars Fletcher Cole and Trey Rominger were a little sluggish to begin. The Rams would keep it close however throughout the first half only trailing by 26-24.

The second half was the Fletcher Cole and Trey Rominger show as they almost single-handedly took over the game for Paoli. The Rangers had no answer for them as they were able to get just about anything they wanted on the offensive end. Forest Park would employ a halfcourt trap to try and slow down the Ram’s high octane offense but the Rams were able to dissect it and get a slew of open shots at the bucket. Trey Rominger had what could be called the play of the game when he caught a pass on the left side and completely shook his defender with one of the best spin moves I’ve ever seen for an easy lay-in. Forest Park would get no closer than 8 the rest of the game.

Paoli got their revenge and will go on to play Evansville Christian for 5th place on December 27th.
